This week, Pink sat down with journalist Chris Wallace for her show, Who’s Talking To Chris Wallace?
During the interview, she gave new insight into the origin of the rumored relationship between her and Christina Aguilera.
As you may remember, last week Pink ranked her music videos, and the last one was “Lady Marmalade”. When asked why, she said, “I’m all about fun, and it was a lot of fuss. There were several personalities. Kim and Mya were nice,” she said, clearly leaving Christina out. “I guess it’s iconic, but I remember I was gradually crying because my skin didn’t like the makeup. It was just… There were some annoying things happening that day.”
Well, she swore at what she might mean by “annoying things.”
Chris said based on the video, Pink would have “kicked (Christina’s) ass,” to which Pink replied, “Well, Maybe.”
“Not everyone liked our personalities … not everyone likes each other and that’s okay. Back then, our personalities didn’t mix at all and that was okay. We hugged it out and we kissed it off and it’s happened many times since.”
“The shadow is – when people are complicated with me, if you ask me, I’m going to answer it honestly,” said Pink. “I’ll tell you my experience of how it happened. That’s not shade. , it’s just honesty. I should know better by now that complete honesty doesn’t work in this world. People want nice things hear and they want to clean you up for them all and that’s not my way.”
Chris Wallace then asked, “Did (Christina) really want to throw you down?”
“She did,” Pink replied. “She was upset that I was sitting in her chair and that it was going to stop all production. I didn’t know I was sitting in her chair.”
“And also, I was homeless at 15. You can’t talk to me in any way. You picked the wrong one. But that’s over,” she continued. “It’s an interesting story, but it probably happens every day in every workplace. Some people just don’t get along, and then they figure it out and realize what’s important, and they embrace it and move on .”
