Savills’ Melanie Chismechian and alumni of the Master in Strategic Interior Design emphasized the need for our spaces to reflect the changing modern world – from retail and workspace to hospitality and learning environments. According to her, design is not a one-size-fits-all solution but something that requires a holistic and broad perspective. Other speakers at the event echoed that sentiment, emphasizing the importance of looking at each project from a multi-dimensional perspective, as well as focusing on long-term sustainability.
